The most appealing part of S1 Pro is, undoubtedly, its diamond-shaped rear camera setup and two color options like Fancy Sky and Knight Black that make S1 Pro stand out from a crowd. With its red accents all over the unit, the color exudes the class with a touch of fun. The S1 Pro has a waterdrop screen in the front that holds a selfie snapper. The bottom is quite wide as compared to other devices, but bezels are slim. The right side of the phone is covered with a power button as well as volume rockers, which can be touched and tactile with ease.

Display-wise, Vivo S1 Pro is 6.38-inches Super AMOLED display with max. Resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. Unfortunately, Gorilla Glass protection isn’t available – instead, Vivo has installed a screen protector to keep it away from scratches. Colours are punchy, as mentioned above, with excellent contrast and sharp details.

Operating System and User Interface

The phone runs on Android Pie 9.0 operating system alongside the company’s own FunTouch OS 9.2 on top. The overall skin is quite clean but not for those who don’t use Vivo smartphones. The phone has options between gestures or buttons for easy navigation and applications; on the other hand, it can be managed in a home screen style. The company’s FunTouch is offering wide Dark Mode, and other features like Motorbike Mode, Lock, Kids Mode and Ultra Gaming Mode are offered too.

Camera & Performance

On paper, a quad-camera configuration outback looks decent, but shutter speed gets slow, according to sources. The color reproduction of captured images isn’t good as well. However, when it comes to portrait images, a subject-background separation is evident, but sometimes, a subject appears out of focus. A selfie snapper captures pretty awesome images with more than enough details and colors and captured images are usable enough for posting on social media platforms.

In terms of performance, Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 Chipset – partnered with 610 GPU and 8GB of RAM promises super-smooth and silky performance, whether you work on multiple apps simultaneously or play graphics-enriched games for long. For gamers, S1 Pro comes with Ultra Game Mode, which can be modified via phone’s settings. It optimizes the phone pretty well, and hence, and you are allowed to play games as smoothly as possible.

Battery

Everything mentioned hereunder “Battery” section is entirely based on different online sources that test smartphones thoroughly. The 4500mAh gigantic battery, according to published reports, yields around 22 hours of video playback with 50% brightness and 50% volume. And thanks to its Fast Battery Charging feature, restoring juice to the phone from 0% to 100% takes less than two hours.
