From 61st position in the last year, IIM Bangalore has now raced past the University of Texas, US to grab a place among top 50 MBA colleges as per QS in Executive Education. IIM, Bangalore soon finds itself at the 36th spot globally in Executive MBA and 44th overall. Here we will discuss the college’s rank and scope concerning spendings.

It is a full-time course which transforms executives and managers into much better and creative professionals. The course costs roughly 27.5 Lakhs INR and transforms a student post-completion.
What is required to be eligible?
If you are an applicant, then you must have a valid score in GMAT/GRE along with 5 years of work experience. Also, 50 percent aggregate marks in Graduation is mandatory. Shortlisted applicants will be called for PI round. Let’s take note of the following selection process below:
- The selection will happen based on GMAT / GRE Test score, Academic performance, and steady work experience. The selection process for the Executive program will be conducted in two rounds. Candidates can submit the applications during any of the two rounds. The interview panel comprises two members from the faculty of IIMB and an IIM-B alumnus.
- The panel will evaluate applicants on the aspects of work experience quality, Diversity, leadership skills, sensitivity towards society, and multifacetedness. Applicants who will not be able to attend the interview on a particular date due to overseas travel or coronavirus or any other reasons can be interviewed online through a video call. Applicants must request for an interview through video conference 10 days before the already scheduled interview date. Candidates may note that interviews by videoconference will be held during the specified interview period.
- Arrangements for video conferencing at the location of the aspirant must be arranged by the aspirant only. A multi-factor model is used to select candidates which include the score in academics, GMAT/GRE scores, work experience, performance in the interview and written test. Using the scores in all these factors, a composite score will be calculated for each aspirant. The final offer of admission will be made to aspirants wholly based on the merit list and availability of seats.
The other courses at IIM Bangalore are PGPM, PGP-PPM, PGPBA, M.Phil & PhD in Management. For PGPM, PGP-PPM, PGPBA courses, 50 percent in Graduation along with excellent CAT/GMAT/GRE scores are required to be eligible. The final selection will be based on WAT and PI. The course fees are 23 Lakhs, 19 Lakhs, and 21.15 Lakhs INR, respectively.
For PhD admissions, candidates must have CAT / GMAT / GRE / IIMB Test score along with a Masters degree (or Integrated Master’s degree) OR, should have passed CS/CWA/CS with 50 per cent aggregate marks OR B.E/B.Tech with at least 60 per cent marks.
Placements at IIM Bangalore
